Dmytro Levytskyi

Correspondent

Dmytro has been working at the RBC-Ukraine newsroom since August 2018, starting as a news editor. Since March 2023, he has also been writing analytical articles covering international politics, security, geopolitical trends, and the impact of global processes on Ukraine.

A graduate of the Faculty of History at Sumy State University named after A.S. Makarenko. Before entering the media field, he gained practical experience in education and communications: he worked for over a year as an IT teacher at a school in the town of Trostyanets, and also in the Department of Education of the Trostyanets City Council.

His main areas of expertise include European countries, NATO, China, and the Global South. He also has experience covering social issues, including reporting on quarantine restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a correspondent, he has worked at events organized by Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, briefings, and press conferences. Some of his authored pieces have been published on the platform site.ua.

In journalism, he focuses on in-depth analysis and clarity of delivery, aiming to explain complex topics in simple, human language without losing their core meaning.

He continues to develop his expertise through educational programs on the Prometheus platform, studying journalism, leadership, and social sciences. During his student years, he participated in the Course of Free People organized by the Youth Nationalist Congress.

In his free time, Dmytro enjoys photography and aquarium keeping, reads self-development books, and watches films and TV series.
