SCOPE OF APPLICATION

UBT, LLC (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), a legal entity registered following the legislation of Ukraine, is the owner of the personal data of users of the RBC-Ukraine website

(www.rbc.ua) (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").

This Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") regulates the processing of users' personal data, the types of personal data, the purpose of processing this data, the Company's interaction with third parties, security measures to protect personal data, conditions of access to personal data, as well as contact information for users regarding access, changes, blocking, or deletion of their personal data.

When using the Website, the Company processes user data, specifically:

The Company collects only those personal data (such as first name and last name, login and access password, email address, contact phone number, date of birth, gender, etc.) that you provide to the Website. Providing such data is your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the purposes defined in this Policy.

All logins to the system are recorded when visiting the Website. Other user traffic information is not processed or stored.

Please note that the Company only collects the minimum amount of information necessary for the fulfillment of the data subject's requests.

The Company does not collect any information that falls under special categories of personal data, such as data regarding racial or ethnic origin, political, religious, or philosophical beliefs, membership in political parties and professional associations, criminal convictions, as well as data related to health, sexual life, biometric, or genetic data, under the Art. 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection."

The Company collects data on the Website visit statistics, including information about connections, traffic, and user browser, as well as the date, time, duration of Internet activity, and presence on the Website.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Processing and storage of user's personal data are carried out in data centers where the equipment necessary for the operation of the Website's services is located.

The provided personal data is processed and may be stored in the Personal Information Database or a separate table of the Website's database.

PURPOSE OF USING PERSONAL DATA

TERMS OF ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA

The procedure for accessing the personal data of third parties is determined by the terms of consent provided by the user to the data owner for the processing of such data or in accordance with legislation.

The user has the right to obtain any information about themselves from any subject of relationships related to personal data, provided that they specify their last name, first name, patronymic, place of residence (place of stay), and details of the document identifying the individual making the request, except in cases established by law.

Access to the user's data is provided free of charge.

Deferment of user’s access to their personal data is not allowed.

Deferment of access to the personal data of third parties is allowed if the required data cannot be provided within thirty calendar days from the date of receiving the request. In this case, the total period for resolving the issues raised in the request cannot exceed forty-five calendar days.

Notification of a deferment decision must be made known to the third party who submitted the request in writing, with an explanation of the procedure for challenging such a decision.

A decision to defer or deny access to personal data can be appealed to the Authorized Representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights or to the court.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

The rights of the data subject are defined in the Art. 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" (https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/2297-17#Text).

To update, access, make changes, block, or delete your personal data, or revoke consent for the processing of personal data provided to the Company in accordance with this Policy, you need to contact the Company at the following address: Ukraine, 04070, Kyiv, H. Skovoroda Street, 21/16.
