After the talk, Zelenskyy reported that the parties discussed Russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy sector and the possibility of strengthening the air defense system.
During the call, the presidents also discussed the possibility of Ukraine receiving Tomahawk long-range missiles.

After the explosions at the Bashneft-Ufimsky refinery plant site, fire trucks began arriving, and a column of black smoke rose above the plant. According to preliminary information, following the strike by the SBU A Special Operations Center drones, the fire broke out in the area of the ELOU-AVT-6 crude oil processing unit.
