Ukrainian military forces have regained control of the village of Mali Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to a video posted by the 24th separate assault battalion Aidar.

Aidar units, together with the 33rd separate assault regiment, raised the Ukrainian flag in the settlement.

"This success is the result of clear coordination, determination, and well-coordinated work of the units. Each such step is another page in our fight, which continues every day, despite fatigue, risks, and losses," the soldiers emphasized.

Mali Shcherbaky lies along the Kamianske-Orikhiv line. At the beginning of the summer, Russian troops advanced to this settlement, after which it was in the gray zone or under enemy control.

Recently, Ukrainian soldiers carried out a successful assault operation in the village of Sichneve in the Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying about 50 Russian soldiers and capturing another 8.

According to the General Staff, a total of 203 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 58 offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Zatyshok, Boikivka, Fedorivka and others.
