Yesterday, the 18th Ramstein meeting began, and the Russian military again launched a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine, Kyiv and Kharkiv were hit.

Missile attack on Ukraine
On the night and morning of January 23, the Russian army attacked Ukraine using cruise, ballistic, air, and anti-aircraft-guided missiles. Air defense forces managed to destroy 22 of the 42 missiles.
Kyiv, Kharkiv, Pavlohrad, and other cities were hit. There are reports of injuries and deaths, as well as fires and destruction in the cities.

Ramstein-18 meeting
Yesterday, January 23, the 18th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format began.
Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin called on the meeting participants to provide the Ukrainian Defense Forces with "more lifesaving ground-based air-defense systems and interceptors."
For his part, the Ukrainian Defense Minister told yesterday's meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format what the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to make a breakthrough.
Donald Trump and Joe Biden lead in primaries of their respective parties in New Hampshire

Italy to amplify support for Ukraine during G7 presidency, Reuters
Italy hopes to use its presidency of the G7 to challenge growing perceptions that Russia is prevailing in Ukraine, according to Reuters.
Italy is set to lead the Group of Seven (G7), including the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada, throughout 2024 and will host a summit in June.
The source also reports that key issues on the agenda for G7 leaders will include the conflict in the Middle East, food security, climate change, development in Africa, interaction with China, and artificial intelligence.

Ukraine and Britain preparing conference on joint weapons production

Preparing for worst: S-300 air defense systems being installed around St. Petersburg
The Russian authorities have begun installing S-300 air defense systems around St. Petersburg following successful drone strikes on targets in the Leningrad region, according to the ASTRA Telegram channel.
"S-300s are being deployed around Peter. So, guys, brace yourselves for the worse," the message says.
