Russian missile attack on Ukraine on January 23 caused damage to the power grids in two regions. Namely, in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, according to Ukrenergo (national power company).

"After the morning rocket attack, there are damages in the networks of regional power companies in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions," the statement says.

Repair work began immediately after the end of the air raid.

Russian shelling of Ukraine

Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine on January 23. Explosions and strikes were reported in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Pavlohrad, and Shostka in the Sumy region. In particular, in Kyiv, fires broke out in parked cars, houses, and apartments, and a part of an unexploded rocket was found in one of them. Currently, 21 people are known to have been injured.

Russian Federation launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using cruise, ballistic, air, and anti-aircraft-guided missiles. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 21 of 41 enemy targets.
