Shelling by Russians in Kharkiv: Photos of aftermath emerged
Police have released photos depicting the aftermath of the evening shelling in Kharkiv on January 23, according to the Kharkiv region police.
Late in the evening, Russians targeted the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Nine casualties have been reported, including a four-year-old child.
Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, and a scientific institution have been damaged. Incidents have also been recorded in the Holodnohirskyi district. According to preliminary information, the strikes on the city were carried out by Russian forces using S-300 missiles from the territory of the Belgorod region, the Russian Federation.
Police have documented the consequences of the strikes.
Shelling in Kharkiv on January 23
Russian forces targeted Kharkiv three times throughout the day, with the majority of strikes hitting the Kyiv district of the city. Residents reported hearing the first explosions at around four in the morning.
During one of the attacks, a residential building's entrance collapsed due to Russian shelling.
It is also known that rescuers retrieved the bodies of a deceased child and her mother from the debris of a multi-story building.
In the evening, Russians carried out another attack on Kharkiv, with impacts recorded on civilian infrastructure.
