Due to Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of January 23, a residential building entrance in Kharkiv has been destroyed, trapping people under the rubble, according to the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to Terekhov, the morning shelling resulted in the complete destruction of the entrance of a multi-story residential building. It is also reported that there is no electricity and partially water in one of the most affected parts of the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that the Russians targeted a residential high-rise building in the Kyiv district of the city.
"Entrances are destroyed. People are trapped under the rubble. Rescue workers and other emergency services are working at the scene," he said.

Russian occupiers shelled Kharkiv overnight, specifically targeting the residential and civil construction area.
Later, a series of explosions occurred in the city in the morning.
