President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and American leader Donald Trump will talk on March 19. The conversation is likely to begin at 4 p.m. Kyiv time, Axios correspondent Barak Ravid reports.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that today, March 19, he would speak with US President Donald Trump.
According to Zelenskyy, he and Trump will discuss the details of the next steps to resolve the war. The Ukrainian President expects to hear from Trump about the details of his conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Trump and Putin's talks
The day before, on March 18, US President Donald Trump and Russia's Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation. As reported, as a result of the talks, Trump and Putin agreed to a ceasefire on energy and infrastructure. However, the same evening, Russian troops launched drones into Ukraine.
Putin did not give a final answer on the ceasefire. However, Putin demanded that Ukraine's rearmament be stopped if a ceasefire is imposed. RBC-Ukraine's sources in the President's Office emphasized that Putin rejected the ceasefire proposal.
