Frontline situation

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck four Russian military targets over two days, including an electronic warfare station, a drone control center and a logistics depot. Ukrainian troops also destroyed a Russian Buk-M1 air defense system in the Huliaipole sector after detecting it despite heavy camouflage. The strikes weaken Russia’s ability to target Ukrainian positions and frontline communities with drones.

Ukraine says it inflicted record losses on Russian forces on October 21, with 2,250 troops killed or wounded in one day, surpassing the previous record of 2,200 on December 19, 2024.
