Ukraine successfully struck four military targets in Russia and temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories over two days, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.
New targets hit
Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the following targets on October 21 and overnight into October 22:
-
a Russian electronic warfare station near Gulevka in Russia's Bryansk region;
-
a command and observation post of the Russian army unit near Vyshneve in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region;
-
a Russian drone control center near Lankove in the Zaporizhzhia region;
-
a military logistics depot near Zolotarivka in the Luhansk region.
The General Staff noted that these strikes reduce the enemy's ability to attack Ukrainian positions and frontline communities with drones.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on October 21 alone, Ukrainian Defense Forces killed or wounded 2,250 Russian troops. This was a record during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
In addition, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a radar station in Russia's Bryansk region and Russian military depots in the Donetsk region on October 18 and 19.
