The US captured Maduro

On Saturday, January 3, the US launched strikes on the Venezuelan capital of Caracas.

Later, Donald Trump confirmed that America had successfully carried out a large-scale operation. He wrote that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife had been captured and taken out of the country.

On the same day, Trump made statements about the operation. He announced that the US would control Venezuela until the transfer of power. The media reports that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will head the administration.

Maduro is to appear in court in the US today, January 5.

Moscow under drone attack for two days in a row

On Saturday, unknown drones flew over Moscow once again. As a result, approximately 50 flights were delayed at Vnukovo Airport.

The situation repeated the following day. Three airports in the capital were closed due to the detection of drones, and the media reported delays to approximately 200 flights.
