The meetings involve representatives from Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Representatives of NATO, the European Council, and the European Commission have also joined the talks.

According to Umerov, a busy working day lies ahead. The parties will discuss security and economic issues, work on framework documents, and coordinate Ukraine’s next steps with international partners.

Meeting of advisers from the US and Europe

At the end of the year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine plans to hold a meeting at the level of advisers with the United States and Europe, which could take place as early as January.

“This meeting will take place. I began discussing it immediately after my meeting with Trump (US president – ed.). I have already connected with Macron (French president – ed.), several of our other partners, and I will continue these consultations, and such a meeting will happen,” Zelenskyy added.

It was reported yesterday that Poland will be represented at the meeting by Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Kupiecki.

It is also worth noting that in a few days, on January 6, a meeting of the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing is scheduled to take place in France. The participating countries are expected to agree on their contributions to security guarantees for Ukraine.
