Ukraine to increase its weapons production - Ukrainian Defense Minister

The Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, and the Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, discussed increasing weapons production for the front and cooperation with foreign partners.
"Had a meeting with the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin and his team", Umerov wrote.

"More weapons to come!", emphasized the head of the Ministry of Defense.
Arms production in Ukraine
Earlier Kamyshin stated that Ukraine has significantly increased its production of shells, but this is not enough for the needs of our soldiers.
Also, Ukrainska Oboronna Promyslovist and the German defense concern Rheinmetall created a joint venture.
It will service and repair equipment handed over to Ukraine by Western allies.
Defense Industries Alliance
On September 29, the First International Forum of Defense Industries (DFNC1) took place in Kyiv. The event brought together 252 companies from over 30 countries.
This forum was attended by manufacturers of tanks, artillery, drones, and ammunition, developers of innovative software, and owners of unique complex technologies from partner countries, as well as Ukrainian state and private enterprises of the defense-industrial complex.
During the forum, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of an alliance of defense industries and a special fund in the defense sphere. It will be filled with money from Russian assets and dividends from state defense assets.
In total, 59 foreign companies from 23 countries have already joined the Defense Industries Alliance created on the initiative of Ukraine.
