First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Sergiy Kyslytsya, arrived in China on a visit. There, he has already met with US Ambassador to China David Perdue, according to Kyslytsya's post on X.

"Busy day ahead in Beijing. A very good conversation with US Ambassador to China David Perdue. It’s always great to feel support of partners like the United States," Kyslytsya emphasized.

Kyslytsia added that the discussion focused on US President Donald Trump's efforts to end Russia's war against Ukraine and strengthen the Ukrainian-American partnership.

The Ukrainian official did not disclose detailed plans for his visit to China.

Peace talks

Ukraine continues active negotiations with the United States over an American peace plan.

The dialogue also involves Ukraine's First Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergiy Kyslytsia.

Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a US delegation in Berlin. Both the US and Ukraine consider these talks productive.

An unnamed US official told Western media that "90%" of all issues had been agreed with Ukraine, adding that President Trump was satisfied with the outcome.

President Zelenskyy also noted progress in the dialogue with the United States.

New negotiations between Ukrainian and US officials are expected in the coming days. On December 18, Zelenskyy said the Ukrainian delegation is en route to the United States.
