Following the overnight shelling of Kyiv, the number of casualties has risen to 30, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Casualties

The total number of victims has reached 30. Among them are two children aged 5 and 6. Three people are in the hospital in severe condition. Four people have been killed.

Fires and destruction have been reported in nearly all districts of Kyiv. Emergency and rescue services are operating at approximately 50 locations, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Obolonskyi district suffered the most

The Obolonskyi district sustained the most severe damage. Numerous fires broke out there, and about 30 cars were burned. In one of the high-rise buildings, a collapse occurred between the third and fourth floors.

In the northern part of Kyiv, 140,000 residents were left without electricity.

Russian strike on Kyiv: Consequences

Overnight, the Russians unleashed terror on Kyiv and the surrounding region. In particular, they attacked the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and damaged the Assumption Cathedral.

That same night, Russia also struck the Kyiv region. Buildings were damaged in five districts, and a child was among the casualties.

During the nighttime strike, Russia destroyed Ukraine’s largest costume collection. At the Dovzhenko Film Studio, approximately 100,000 costumes and three million pieces of clothing were destroyed.

In total, Russia struck Ukraine last night with 6 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles, 34 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 30 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 611 strike and decoy drones of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol, and Parodiya.
