Russian missile and drone attack damages homes across Kyiv region, child among injured

During the night of June 15, the Kyiv region came under a combined Russian attack. Russian forces once again targeted homes and vehicles overnight, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
He noted that the region was attacked overnight by drones as well as cruise and ballistic missiles. Three people are known to have been injured as a result of the strike.
"In the Boryspil district, a man suffered cuts to his foot, while a woman sustained a concussion. A boy born in 2011 was diagnosed by medics with an acute stress reaction. All victims received the necessary assistance on site," the statement said.
Mykola Kalashnyk also clarified that the consequences of the attack were recorded in five districts of the region. In particular:

In the Brovary district, a multi-story residential building, three passenger vehicles, and warehouse facilities were damaged.

In the Vyshhorod district, damage was recorded on the territory of a private household.

In the Fastiv district, a private house caught fire and a vehicle was damaged.

In the Bucha district, warehouse facilities were damaged.

In the Boryspil district, a private residential house was also damaged.

"The assessment of the consequences of the attack and the elimination of the damage are ongoing. All residents whose homes were damaged as a result of the enemy attack will receive the necessary assistance," Kalashnyk concluded.
What happened overnight
On the night of June 15, Russia launched another combined attack on Ukraine. However, the main strike was directed at Kyiv. Residential buildings were damaged in the capital as a result of the attack, and historic buildings were also affected.
In particular, Russian forces attacked the territory of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, damaging the Dormition Cathedral. In addition, the enemy attacked the Dovzhenko Film Studio, resulting in costumes being burned.
