Runoff election in Moldova and Shahed drone attacks on Kyiv - Weekend brief

Election in Moldova
On the evening of November 3, the CEC announced the preliminary results of the second round of the presidential election in Moldova.

However, there were some incidents. Police in Moldova recorded organized transportation of voters to polling stations. Such cases were noticed in the country and abroad.
Drone attack from Russia
Since the morning of November 2, the Russians have been trying to attack Kyiv with drones.
The air defense forces neutralized all the drones that threatened the capital, and direct hits were avoided.
Yet, drone debris provoked a fire on the upper floors of a high-rise building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. Besides, UAVs fell in the Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts.
On the night of November 3, Russia attacked Ukraine with a Kh-59/69 missile and 96 drones. Air defense was operating in 10 regions of Ukraine. The defenders destroyed 66 drones, and another 27 drones were lost. One of them flew in the direction of Belarus.
The wreckage of Russian drones fell in three districts of Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Lenin Museum permanently closed in Finland
On Sunday, November 3, the museum of Vladimir Lenin, former chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR, was permanently closed in Finland.
The closure was widely reported in Europe, as far away as Italy and Hungary. Even the British newspaper The Times published an article about it.
On the same day, Finland sent a note to Russia reminding it of Russia's obligation to ensure the safety of the mission and its staff.
This comes after the fence of the Finnish Embassy in Moscow was spray painted and vandals threw eggs at it. Finland sent a note to Russia in connection with the vandalism.
