Not just Trump and Harris: Other US presidential candidates and their impact on election

In the 2024 US presidential race, while Kamala Harris and Donald Trump dominate the spotlight, third-party candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Chase Oliver, Cornel West, and Jill Stein could significantly influence the election outcome. These candidates, though polling in the single digits, may siphon votes in key swing states, potentially impacting the race between Harris and Trump.

Kennedy, initially running as a Democrat, endorsed Trump after suspending his campaign, while Oliver, the Libertarian candidate, could draw votes away from Harris. West and Stein, both advocating progressive policies, might attract left-leaning voters dissatisfied with the Democratic Party.

Democrats are attempting to counteract third-party candidates, fearing they could weaken Harris's chances in crucial states.
