Zelenskyy approves new anti-Russian sanctions: Details
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted the NSDC decision on sanctions against Russia. Among those under the new restrictions is Vladimir Saldo, the so-called head of the occupied part of the Kherson region, according to relevant decrees from the President and Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak on Telegram.
According to the decrees, sanctions are imposed on individuals and legal entities, collaborators, occupiers, and entities supporting them in the temporarily occupied territories (a total of 175 entities). Additionally, sanctions target companies that service airfields where enemy military aviation is based.
Restrictions have also been imposed on companies transporting military equipment, ammunition, equipment, and supplies to the front and importing sanctioned goods from Iran and North Korea. This includes 73 legal entities and 74 individuals.
Yermak pointed out that now under sanctions is LLC AeroStan. This Kyrgyzstan-based company, a charter cargo operator, regularly uses its aircraft to deliver sanctioned foreign products to Russia.
Sanctions have also been introduced against LLC Domodedovo Airfield, which manages Domodedovo Airport. This airport is involved in the transportation of weapons.
Included in the sanctions list is JSC Aeroport Koltsovo, which operates Koltsovo Airport. The airport is listed among airfields jointly used with the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, services sanctioned airlines and is owned by oligarch Viktor Vekselberg.
The company 1C, known for developing a popular accounting system, is also on the sanctions list.
Additionally, the new sanctions against Saldo include the blocking of assets for 10 years, and a ban on trade operations, land purchases, and capital withdrawals from Ukraine. The collaborator has also been stripped of all awards.
