President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Budapest to attend the summit of the European Political Community. This is his first visit to Hungary since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
Trump on possible contacts with Putin: 'I think we'll speak'
Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, has suggested the possibility of a conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. When this might happen remains unknown, according to NBC News.
"I think we'll speak," Trump clarified.

Russia targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure with drones to save missiles - Center for Countering Disinformation
Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) stated that Russia is targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure with drones, aiming to save missiles.
Kovalenko explained that the pace of missile production prevents Russia from waging an intense war with constant missile usage.
'Hugs with Putin will not help': Zelenskyy calls global leaders for arms support
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the European Political Community for its support of Ukraine in its struggle against Russia. He emphasized that Ukraine needs not just diplomatic support but sufficient weaponry to defend against Russian aggression.
"We are defending ourselves not against Russian words but against Russian attacks. Therefore, we need sufficient weapons, not support in talks. Hugs with Putin will not help," Zelenskyy said.

The dismissed German Finance Minister, Christian Lindner, has accused Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He claimed that the Chancellor allegedly obstructed "effective military support for Ukraine," citing Berliner Zeitung.
Lindner said that his Free Democratic Party (FDP) never hesitated to support aid for Ukraine.
Russia massively strikes Kyiv with drones: Air defense's work reported
On the night of November 7, the Russian military again attacked Kyiv with drone strikes. Russian drones entered Kyiv both individually and in groups from different directions, at different altitudes, including very low and high altitudes. The air alert in Kyiv lasted for eight hours
Thanks to the coordinated work of air defense, over 30 Russian drones were neutralized over Kyiv and on the outskirts of the city.
Russian drone debris fell in 6 districts of the city, damaging several residential and non-residential buildings. Fires broke out at the crash site and were quickly extinguished. Two victims are known to be in satisfactory condition.
