Zelenskyy visits Hungary for the first time since Russia's invasion of Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Budapest to attend the summit of the European Political Community. This is his first visit to Hungary since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, according to Reuters.
The President of Ukraine's visit to Budapest is at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whose country currently holds the presidency of the EU Council.
During the arrival ceremony, the Ukrainian President did not speak to journalists. He said that he would comment to the press after the meetings.
Meanwhile, the media are publishing footage of the meeting between Zelenskyy and Orbán on the sidelines of the summit.

Summits in Hungary
Two events will take place in Budapest today and tomorrow. The first is the summit of the European Political Community (EPC). It will be attended by more than 40 leaders from almost all European countries.
They will discuss Europe's security challenges, including Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine and the current escalation in the Middle East, illegal migration, and issues related to economic security and connectivity in the areas of energy, transportation, IT, and global trade.
Afterward, 27 EU leaders will gather for an informal summit to draft a New European Treaty on Competitiveness.
The summit will be held immediately after Donald Trump's unexpectedly convincing victory in the US presidential election. This event could have far-reaching consequences for the entire European continent.
