Russia massively strikes Kyiv with drones: Air defense's work reported
On the night of November 7, the Russian military again attacked Kyiv with drone strikes. The attack was massive and consisted of several waves, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Russian drones entered Kyiv both individually and in groups from different directions, at different altitudes, including very low and high altitudes. The air alert in Kyiv lasted for eight hours.
Thanks to the coordinated work of air defense, over 30 Russian drones were neutralized over Kyiv and on the outskirts of the city. The exact number and type of drones will be made public by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russian drone debris fell in 6 districts of the city, damaging several residential and non-residential buildings. Fires broke out at the crash site and were quickly extinguished. Two victims are known to be in satisfactory condition.
There is currently no air alert in Kyiv, but drones have been spotted in Ukrainian airspace that may be heading toward the capital.
Russian massive attack on Kyiv
Russian forces carried out another attack using Shahed attack drones, which began in the evening. The drones were moving, in particular, toward Kyiv. The air raid alert in the capital was announced after midnight, and the alarm was not lifted until about eight in the morning.
During the night, air defense systems were seen operating over Kyiv, as a series of explosions were heard in the city. Around 2 a.m. Kyiv time, the capital's authorities reported the aftermath of the attack in the Holosiivskyi district, where a fire broke out due to falling Russian drone debris.
