Shahed attack on Kyiv: Debris falls and consequences reported
In Kyiv, amid a hostile drone attack last night, the debris from a Russian drone fell in one of the city's districts. As a result, an apartment in a residential building was severely damaged, reports the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko.
The official explained that the incident occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital.
According to initial reports, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration mentioned there was significant damage to an apartment in a residential building.
"There is no fire at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties," he said regarding the operational situation following the Shahed drone attack on the capital.
The official added that information about the consequences is still being verified and clarified.
Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration added that a fire had also been reported at a garage cooperative in the Holosiivskyi district. Emergency services are heading to the scene.
The administration noted that no information about casualties has been received.
As Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Telegram, debris from the drone fell in the Holosiivskyi district, and, according to preliminary information, garages are burning there.
"Emergency services are heading to the scene," the mayor added.
Fire also occurred at a car service station
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that, near the garages that caught fire in Holosiivskyi district, a fire also broke out at a neighboring car service station (STO).
The administration clarified that the total area of the fire is 300 square meters, and preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties.

According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, in the Holosiivskyi district, where drone debris fell, windows in some apartments of a residential building were damaged by the shockwave.
"There have been no calls to medical services so far. In the area nearby, where the garages are located, the car service station is on fire. Firefighters are working. No one has approached medical services there either," the capital's mayor said.
Nighttime Shahed attack on Kyiv
Earlier, it was reported that on the evening prior, Russian forces launched kamikaze drones at Ukraine in another air attack. The Shahed drones were, in particular, heading towards the capital. After midnight, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv.
It was later confirmed that air defense systems were active in Kyiv, where a series of explosions were also heard.
Additionally, it became known that enemy drones are being shot down in the Kyiv region tonight.
