US President Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, July 8, according to journalist Hiba Nasr, citing a senior US official.
The source said that Trump will hold bilateral meetings with two leaders—Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa.
The talks will take place on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara.
Previously, reports emerged that on July 4, Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with Trump, during which he congratulated him on the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Following the call, the Ukrainian president said there is a "real chance" to end the war, and the two leaders agreed to continue their dialogue in person at the NATO summit in Ankara.
The previous meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump took place in June 2026 on the sidelines of the G7 summit.
At that meeting, the two presidents discussed Ukraine obtaining licenses to manufacture anti-ballistic missiles.
