Today, the United States celebrates Independence Day. On the occasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Trump and the American people on the holiday.
He noted that Ukraine and the United States are united by shared values and added that American leadership remains essential to protecting freedom worldwide.
Zelenskyy also thanked the United States for its assistance and, in his address to the OSCE, urged partners—especially the United States—to provide Patriot interceptor missiles to help defend against Russian ballistic attacks.
