According to Nykyforov, the meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump is expected to take place at around 13:00 (14:00 Kyiv time). As of now, only a protocol photo opportunity is planned, but the format may change shortly before the meeting.

At 14:30 (15:30 Kyiv time), the Ukrainian president's main speech at the summit will take place. It will be broadcast with interpretation.

Zelenskyy will also take part in a panel discussion titled International Advisory Council for Ukraine's Recovery. As part of the event, the President of Ukraine will meet with representatives of energy companies.

Meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump

Yesterday, it became known that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would travel to Davos on Thursday, January 22, for a meeting with US President Donald Trump.

The meeting is expected to take place before Trump's special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, travel to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Both meetings will be dedicated to Trump's peace plan for Ukraine.

Yesterday, on January 21, Trump said he plans to meet with Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Earlier, Zelenskyy stated that he would not go to the Davos forum and would remain in Ukraine following another massive Russian attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

However, today it became known that Zelenskyy did travel to Davos.

Previously, media reports indicated that President Zelenskyy and Trump could sign an agreement on Ukraine's post-war recovery worth about $800 billion by the end of January.

According to sources, the signing of the document is planned for the Davos forum. The agreement is designed for 10 years and provides for the country's post-war reconstruction and the relaunch of the Ukrainian economy.
