On the night of October 4, Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia region with drones. Three people were injured, and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged, according to Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram.

According to Fedorov, over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out nearly 600 strikes on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Most of the attacks were carried out with drones of various types (mainly FPV) and artillery.

Authorities also received 80 reports of damage to homes, equipment, and infrastructure.

Combined Russian attack on Ukrainian cities

On the night of October 4, several regions of Ukraine came under attack from Russian forces. Ukraine’s Air Force reported enemy tactical aviation activity in the southeast and the threat of aerial weapons being used against frontline regions. Strikes were launched with guided aerial bombs (KABs) in Sumy region and toward Zaporizhzhia, while hostile drones were spotted over northwestern Chernihiv region heading toward Kyiv, and over eastern Kharkiv region heading toward Poltava.

Explosions were also reported in Sumy, in the Chuhuiv community of Kharkiv region, and in Chernihiv.

Russian attack on October 3

As RBC-Ukraine reported earlier, on the night of October 2–3 Russian forces carried out another combined attack on Ukraine, firing 35 missiles and 381 drones.

Poltava and Poltava region were hit the hardest, with terrorists targeting natural gas infrastructure. As a result of the strikes, the facilities were forced to shut down.

Explosions were also heard in Dnipro, Odesa, and several other regions, where energy facilities were among the enemy’s main targets.

In Pavlohrad, explosions occurred on Friday evening during an air raid alert for possible ballistic missile attacks.

During the same threat, Russian forces also struck Donetsk region. According to Donetsk regional governor Vadym Filashkin, an energy facility was targeted.

Following the explosions in Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, power supply was completely cut off. In Kramatorsk, electricity was partially lost.
