As a result of a combined Russian attack on DTEK Naftogaz facilities, a number of gas production facilities in the Poltava region were shut down on the night of October 3, according to Ukraine's DTEK energy company.

"At night, Russia once again attacked the energy infrastructure of DTEK Naftogaz with drones and missiles. As a result of the Russian attack, the operation of many gas production facilities in the Poltava region was stopped," the statement says.

Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities on October 3

From October 2 to October 3, Russia carried out another combined strike on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Poltava, Dnipro, Odesa, and several other regions.

In the Poltava region, the main target of the Russian attack was energy facilities.

According to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, today the Russians struck energy infrastructure facilities in several regions of Ukraine with missiles and drones. In particular, gas transportation system facilities were hit.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, last night Russia launched a combined strike on Ukrainian territory using strike drones, air- and ground-based missiles, and a total of 416 air attack weapons.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed and suppressed 320 air targets, including 303 Russian drones, 12 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 5 Kh-59/69 guided air missiles.
