On the night of October 2–3, the Russian army carried out a combined strike on Ukraine, targeting several regions at once.

RBC-Ukraine compiled all the known consequences of the overnight attack on Ukraine.

Dnipropetrovsk region

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported that during the night, the enemy attacked the region with drones.

"It was loud in Dnipro. There were fires in the city. Emergency services are working to extinguish them," he said.

According to Lysak, in one of the villages in the Dnipro district, four private houses were damaged. In the Shakhtarsk community of the Synelnykove district, a five-story building was damaged, with windows shattered. In the Mezhivska community, which the Russians struck in the morning, a local house caught fire.

It was also tense in the Nikopol area. The enemy hit the Marhanets community with an FPV drone and fired with heavy artillery.

"We are clarifying the consequences. The main thing is that there were no casualties anywhere," emphasized the head of the Regional Military Administration.

According to him, air defense forces destroyed 13 enemy drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Poltava region

On the night of October 2–3, the Russian army also launched a combined strike in the Poltava region. Residents of the area heard a series of explosions.

According to the Air Force of Ukraine, at least four cruise missiles were detected heading toward Poltava and Lubny.

In addition, the flight of Shahed-type attack drones was recorded in several districts of the region, including the city of Poltava itself.

In Poltava and the surrounding districts, residents heard explosions during the air raid alert.

According to the Emergency Response Department of the Poltava City Council, due to an emergency in the power supply network for public transport and street lighting, traffic on the cobblestone section of Nebesna Sotnia Street was completely blocked.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, confirmed that the enemy conducted a massive combined attack on the Poltava region that night using missiles and drones.

"There were strikes and falling debris in various locations. Energy infrastructure facilities were affected. In the Poltava community, debris damaged a private household. Fortunately, there were no casualties in any of the cases," he noted.

Cherkasy region

The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported that early in the morning, an air raid alert was declared in the Cherkasy region. The enemy again launched combined strikes.

"Fourteen Russian drones were destroyed within the region. There were no injuries. According to preliminary data, no damage was caused by debris," he noted.

Mykolaiv region

Local media reported that during the night, two Shahed drones were shot down over the Mykolaiv region.

As a result of combat operations and falling debris in the Bashtanka district, a fire broke out, and a utility building was damaged.

In the Mykolaiv district, Russian forces attacked the Ochakiv community six times with kamikaze drones and shelled the Kutsurub community twice with artillery.

There is no information about casualties.

Sumy region

The head of the Shostka community, Mykola Noha, said that due to the overnight attack by Russia, there is no electricity in the Shostka urban community.

According to him, an infrastructure facility was damaged in the Voronizh starosta district.

"An infrastructure facility was damaged in the Voronizh starosta district. The city of Shostka and all the settlements of the community are without electricity. Emergency repair crews are working! Damages and losses are being clarified!" he added.

During the night of October 3, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on various regions of Ukraine, using strike drones and missiles.

At the same time, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy targeted 17 settlements. More than six hundred attacks using various types of weapons were recorded.
