Russian missiles and drones strike energy facilities in Ukraine's Poltava region overnight

Russian forces attacked Ukraine's Poltava region overnight with drones and missiles. The primary targets were energy facilities in the area, according to Volodymyr Kohut, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.
"Last night, the enemy carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine's Poltava region using missiles and drones. There were strikes and debris falling in various locations," said Kohut.
According to him, as a result of the attack, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. In addition, debris damaged a private household in the Poltava community. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Attack on Ukraine on October 3
Russian forces attacked the southern, eastern, and northern regions of Ukraine overnight on October 3 with strike drones and missiles.
During the night of October 3, explosions were heard in Odesa and Dnipro during an air raid alert. The Ukrainian Air Force reported the threat of kamikaze drones targeting these cities.
In addition, explosions repeatedly sounded in Poltava. Earlier, monitoring channels had reported the movement of cruise missiles toward the city.
Furthermore, Russian forces carried out massive attacks on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, delivering over 600 strikes with various types of weapons.
