Poltava under missile attack, explosions reported in city

Missile strikes target Poltava, with explosions reported in the city, according to the Ukrainian Air Force and the Suspilne TV channel.
The first reports of cruise missile launches toward Poltava appeared around 1:00 AM Kyiv time on the Ukrainian Air Force’s channel.
The information was updated several times throughout the night.

Monitoring Telegram channels reported that ground-launched cruise missiles, likely 9M727–729 Iskander-K, were used in the attack.
At the same time, the Suspilne TV channel, citing its local correspondents, reported explosions in Poltava.
As of 1:40 AM Kyiv time, there was no official confirmation of the blasts.
Air raid alerts
As RBC-Ukraine previously reported, air raid sirens were activated across parts of Ukraine during the night of October 3. Citizens were urged to remain in shelters as reports indicated increased aerial threat activity in central and northeastern regions of the country.
