Zaporizhzhia region hit by strike on transport network, one fatality

On the morning of April 22, Russian forces attacked the transport infrastructure of the Zaporizhzhia region, states the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Course of the attack
The Wednesday morning began for the residents of Zaporizhzhia with an attack using guided aerial bombs (KABs) and strike drones. Explosions were heard in the region.
Another air alert was announced in the region at 03:44 Kyiv time. Fedorov warned of the threat of strike drones. At 03:58, he reported explosions in the region.
Casualties and destruction
An hour and a half after the attack, the head of the regional military administration reported the consequences:
"As a result of the enemy strike on transport infrastructure, one man was killed. Another person was injured," he wrote.
For context, the day before, on April 21, Russian forces carried out 725 strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district. Two people were killed, and ten more were wounded. The enemy cynically struck residential buildings with drones and artillery.
That same day, the Russians attacked Sumy: more than five UAV impacts were recorded in the Zarichnyi district. Four people were injured, including a 17-year-old child. Also, last evening, Russia struck a multi-story building in Kharkiv with a drone — five people sought medical assistance.
