The Security Service of Ukraine, together with other components of the Defense Forces, struck oil refineries, fuel terminals, and military facilities in Russia and Russian-controlled Crimea, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.

Drones attacked the Yaroslavl oil refinery and the Yaroslavl dispatch station. Explosions and heavy smoke were reported in the area of the facility.

A hit on the Vysotsk oil terminal at the Vysotsk seaport in the Leningrad region was also confirmed. Two loading arms were put out of operation, and three petroleum storage tanks were damaged. In addition, drones attacked the NOVATEK Ust-Luga oil refinery in the village of Slobodka.

Strikes on military targets and Crimea

In the Leningrad region, the permanent deployment site of the enemy's 26th Missile Brigade near the city of Luga was struck.

The Security Service of Ukraine also carried out a separate operation in Russian-controlled Crimea. Three aircraft hangars were hit at Hvardiiske airfield.

Near Simferopol, a Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile system was struck, while a mobile fire unit was hit in Kerch. A storage tank and a pumping station at the TES Terminal-1 oil depot were also struck.

"On the president's instructions, we are doing everything to ensure that Russia pays every day for its crimes. As long as the enemy continues attacking Ukrainian civilian cities, its military and fuel infrastructure will continue to suffer significant losses. We are systematically destroying the resources that fuel Russia's war machine, and this work will only intensify," said Security Service of Ukraine chief Yevhen Khmara.

Earlier, Ukraine successfully struck eight of Russia's ten largest oil refineries, significantly reducing the aggressor country's oil refining capacity.

The Economist reported that Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russian territory have had a much greater impact on the country's economy and defense-industrial complex than previously believed.

According to the media outlet, Ukraine carried out 658 strikes in 2025 against targets located more than 100 kilometers from the state border. At the same time, production at Russian oil refineries fell by 15% in the spring compared with the same period a year earlier.
