Ukraine's Defense Forces have received the first batch of Peklo drone missiles. They were handed over to the Armed Forces by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to the Ukrainian President's Telegram channel.

“The Peklo drone missile. This is a Ukrainian weapon that has already been proven in combat use. Today we handed over the first batch to Ukrainian Defense Forces. Now the task is to increase production and use,” Zelenskyy said.

According to Ukrinform, this is the first series of Ukrainian-made drone missiles that have been handed over to the Ukrainian army and put into mass production.

Peklo drone-missiles already have five successful uses in their arsenal.

For security reasons, other technical characteristics of the Ukrainian drone missile and the number of units transferred are not disclosed.

Drone production in Ukraine

Ukraine has established its drone production. Moreover, the production of Ukrainian drones in 2024 increased 10 times compared to 2023.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine has exceeded its drone production plan this year. In total, more than 900 new models of weapons and military equipment were put into service this year.

According to Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Ukraine plans to increase weapons production in 2025. These include drones and long-range weapons, including ballistic missiles.
