Resumption of Ukraine-US cooperation

Earlier today, March 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the teams of Ukraine and the US had resumed their work.

Later, the Ukrainian leader confirmed the upcoming meeting between the Ukrainian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff noted that the framework of a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia could be discussed during the talks.

It is known that the US delegation will include US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

Trump-Zelenskyy dispute

On February 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Washington, where a dispute over the war arose during talks with US President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance at the White House.

Following the heated exchange, Zelenskyy left the meeting early, while Trump accused him of not being ready for peace.

As a result, a minerals deal was not signed. Later, the White House claimed that Zelenskyy was sparking the conflict, while Western media reported that Trump had demanded that he fix the situation.

Moreover, on March 5, it was revealed that the US had halted intelligence sharing with Ukraine regarding strikes on Russian territory. The CIA director confirmed that Washington had suspended not only data exchange but also arms supplies.
