US halts intelligence sharing with Ukraine needed for strikes on Russia

The United States paused intelligence sharing with Ukraine, but not completely. They stopped providing data that could help the Armed Forces of Ukraine strike at Russian territory, according to SkyNews.
An anonymous Ukrainian source confirmed to Sky News that intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine had ceased.
“Unfortunately, yes, but not completely. It is selective. On the possibility of damage on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the source said.
A Sky News source described the move as “selective,” meaning that the United States is still providing Ukraine with intelligence that could be used to attack Russian troops in the occupied Ukrainian territory.
The move was another blow to Kyiv after Donald Trump decided to halt all military aid to Ukraine following a conflict with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House.
Termination of intelligence sharing
CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed that the United States had paused the transfer of weapons and intelligence to Ukraine.
According to Ratcliffe, he “looks forward to lifting the pause and working with Ukraine towards peace.”
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starr, commented on the reports of restrictions on intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine. He emphasized that the UK, the US, Europe, and Ukraine should work together without choosing between the US and Europe. He noted that the UK has always maintained close cooperation with its allies and is not going to change this policy.
