Ukraine will put today's Russian strike on a residential high-rise in Ternopil in focus at the UN Security Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow, November 20, according to Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

"Ukraine will bring Russia’s horrific murder of at least 25 people, including 3 children, in Ternopil to the spotlight of tomorrow’s UN Security Council meeting," Sybiha said.

He emphasized that Ukraine is calling for condemnation, justice, and a decisive response.

"We have already addressed all of our partners and international organizations, informing about the consequences of the strike. Against the backdrop of such brutality, we reiterate our call for the provision of additional air defense and other equipment to protect our people," the minister stated.

Sybiha also instructed all Ukrainian embassies to lower their flags and open books of condolence.
