Russian troops launched nearly 50 missiles and 476 drones of various types at Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed most of the Russian targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

"On the night of November 19, Russia launched a combined strike on critical infrastructure in Ukraine using strike drones, air- and ground-based missiles,” the Ukrainian Air Force says.

In total, the Ukrainian Air Force's radio-technical troops detected and tracked 524 air attack vehicles – 48 missiles and 476 drones of various types.

Ukrainian air defense forces detected:

  • 476 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of strike drones;
  • 40 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch areas: Vologda and Astrakhan regions of Russia);
  • 7 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea;
  • 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the main targets of the attack were the Lviv, Ternopil, and Kharkiv regions.

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 10 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down/suppressed 483 air targets:

  • 442 Russian Shahed and Gerbera drones and other types of drones;
  • 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
  • 7 Kalibr cruise missiles.

Currently, 7 missiles and 34 strike drones have been recorded hitting 14 locations, and 6 locations have been hit by downed missiles.

Massive Russian strike on Ukraine on November 19

During a combined missile strike on Ukraine on the night of November 19, the Russians attacked Ternopil. Several multi-story buildings were damaged and partially destroyed there, and a rescue operation is ongoing.

The Russians also attacked energy facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, leaving people injured as a result of Russian strikes. Damage to energy facilities and fires were also reported in the Lviv region, where explosions were heard during the night.

In Kharkiv, following a Russian attack on the night of November 19, 46 people had been injured or wounded by the Russian strike as of the morning. Sixteen high-rise buildings, a school, an ambulance station, and other buildings were damaged, and a supermarket was destroyed.
