Russia strikes Ukraine's Lviv region with drones and missiles: Energy infrastructure damaged, fires broke out

According to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, a fire is being extinguished at one of the facilities. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries.

He also notes that life support systems in the Lviv region are operating normally.

Thick smoke in Lviv

According to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, the thick smoke over the city is the result of tires burning in civilian warehouses targeted by Russia.

"There is currently no information about casualties. So far, this is all the confirmed information about the strikes. According to preliminary data, the smoke does not pose a threat to health. However, just in case, close your windows," Sadovyi adds.

Russian strikes on Ukraine on November 19

Russia carried out a combined attack on Ukrainian territory last night with strike drones, hypersonic missiles of the Kinzhal type, and other missile systems.

Against the backdrop of a massive Russian attack, Poland scrambled allied aircraft in response to Russian strikes on western regions of Ukraine. The military reported the takeoff of fighter jets and early warning aircraft.

Last night, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on Kharkiv using Geran-2 kamikaze drones. At least 36 people were injured, including two children. Lviv and Ternopil also suffered combined strikes.

In Ternopil, buildings and residential houses were damaged as a result of combined drone and missile strikes, and there are casualties. The relevant services are working at the site of the strikes.
