On the night of Wednesday, November 19, the Russian army launched another massive combined strike on Ukraine. This time, the target was western Ukraine, according to the Lviv Regional Military Administration and Suspilne.

According to authorities, several groups of strike drones approaching the city from the south and east were detected. By 06:40 Kyiv time, residents and officials reported explosions in the city.

“Residents of the Lviv region, please do not post any photos, videos, or addresses. Maintain information silence. The threat remains,” the Regional Military Administration said.

At the same time, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi urged residents not to ignore the air raid alert and to remain in shelters.

As of 06:55 Kyiv time, there were no reports of damage or casualties.

Ternopil

Media outlets report explosions in Ternopil. Meanwhile, authorities are asking residents to stay in shelters as well. Shortly before this, the Air Force had warned about drones moving toward the region from the north.

“I ask everyone to remain in shelters until the alert is over. Do not post photos or videos,” Ternopil Mayor Serhii Nadal wrote on Telegram.

At the same time, the Ternopil Regional Military Administration is also warning of a missile threat to the region. According to the Air Forces, missiles were detected in the southern part of the Ternopil region, moving westward.

Attack of November 19

Last night, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukrainian territory. It is already known that the enemy used strike drones, Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, and other types of missiles.

Due to the new attack, Poland scrambled allied aircraft in response to Russia’s strikes on western Ukraine. The army reported deploying fighter jets and an early warning aircraft.
