Russian strike on Ternopil

On the night of November 19, Russia carried out a combined attack on Ternopil with missiles and strike drones.

Russian strike damaged residential buildings and caused casualties. In one of the high-rise buildings, the structure partially collapsed, and a rescue operation is underway.

The city authorities warned of possible temporary disruptions to public transport. Earlier, it was reported that 20 people were killed and more than 60 were injured as a result of the Russian attack.

According to preliminary data, a Russian Kh-101 missile hit a residential building in Ternopil, said Yurii Ihnat, head of the Ukrainian Air Force Command's communications department.

In total, Russia launched nearly 50 missiles and 476 drones of various types at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed most of the Russian targets.
