Ukraine strikes Russian Maykop airfield in Adygea, hits military infrastructure

Ukraine’s Defense Forces have struck the Maykop military airfield in Russia’s Republic of Adygea. Hits on infrastructure facilities have been reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“As part of efforts to counter the enemy’s use of tactical aviation, the infrastructure of the military airfield ‘Maykop’ (Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation) was recently struck,” the statement said.
According to preliminary information, the airfield's infrastructure was hit.
Strikes on Russian facilities
On March 10, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out successful Storm Shadow missile strikes on the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk, Russia.
On March 11 and during the night of March 12, Ukrainian forces launched powerful strikes on military facilities of Russian occupying troops.
Earlier, on March 8 and during the night of March 9, Ukrainian defenders also carried out a series of successful strikes on Russian military targets.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a radar station of the S-300 air defense system and a Buk-M3 missile system.
In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed with ATACMS and SCALP missiles a base used for storing, preparing, and launching Shahed-type drones near Donetsk Airport.
Besides eliminating the launch site for kamikaze drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also hit a UAV command center in the Luhansk region and several enemy artillery positions in the Donetsk region.
Earlier, Ukraine’s military command officially confirmed that damage occurred in one of the workshops of the Votkinsk plant, where Iskander-M, Oreshnik, and Topol-M missiles are produced, following a strike.
