Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 224 strike drones throughout the day on August 29. The capital was the main target, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Throughout the day on August 29, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 224 strike drones, most of them jet-powered. The majority of the drones were directed toward Kyiv.

Preliminary data say air defenses shot down or suppressed 199 strike UAVs during the day.

As of 6:20 p.m., up to 10 Russian strike drones were still in Ukrainian airspace.

As previously reported, today, August 29, Russia has been attacking Kyiv with jet-powered drones since morning. A two-year-old girl was killed when a drone fell, and eight other people were injured.
