The Defense Forces carried out powerful strikes on the military facilities of the Russian army yesterday, March 11, and overnight into today, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the night of March 12, a launcher of the S-300V surface-to-air missile system was hit in the area of Borovenky (temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region). A command and observation post of a Russian unit near Vasylivka (temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region) came under attack.

Ukrainian defenders also struck military logistics and supply facilities.

A materiel warehouse and an ammunition depot were hit in the area of Dubivskyi (temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region), as well as a repair unit of an artillery brigade in the area of Yakymivka (temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region). An enemy train carrying fuel and lubricants in the area of Dovzhansk (temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region) was also struck.

Results of Ukraine's strikes on March 11

On March 11, the Defense Forces hit a radar station of an S-300 air defense system in the area of Sevastopol (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea).

The General Staff also reported that more than 6,000 munitions of various types were destroyed as a result of a strike on a field artillery depot in the area of Shyroka Balka (temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region).

Strikes on Russian rear areas

On March 8 and overnight into March 9, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of successful strikes on facilities of the Russian troops. The Defense Forces of Ukraine attacked a radar station of an S-300 air defense system and a Buk-M3 missile system.

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed with ATACMS and SCALP missiles a base for the storage, preparation, and launch of Shahed-type UAVs in the area of Donetsk Airport.

Besides eliminating the launch site for kamikaze drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a UAV control point in the Luhansk region and several Russian artillery positions in the Donetsk region.
