Today, March 10, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out successful strikes with Storm Shadow missiles on the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Russia’s Bryansk, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a post by Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi.
"Kremniy El is a critically important link in the chain of production of Russian 'high-precision' weapons. The plant specializes in discrete semiconductor devices and integrated microchips, which serve as the 'brains' and 'nervous system' of modern weapons, including Iskander missiles," the statement said.

The General Staff noted that the strike caused significant damage to the production facilities. The extent of the damage is currently being clarified.
Preparation for a new campaign
Kyrychevskyi noted that Ukraine and Russia have begun preparations for a new winter campaign in this "strike-driven" manner.
"The enemy has started 'testing' the rather dangerous Izdeliye 30 missile, the electronics for which are produced at this very plant. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Forces simply struck this important facility of Russia’s military-industrial complex," his post said.
The expert added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already achieved parity with the Russian forces in terms of long-range UAV capabilities. Now, he said, it is time to achieve parity in long-range missile capabilities.
"Although this is an even more difficult task — over the years of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has launched around 13,000 different long-range missiles at us. We have no other choice but to cope with all these challenges," Kyrychevskyi noted.
What preceded this
Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian defenders had struck a Russian military plant in Bryansk.
The president emphasized that the plant produces components critical for missiles. He also added that Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported the successful operation of the Defense Forces to him.
