A Hungarian drone entered Ukrainian airspace nearly 40 kilometers, and Budapest has yet to provide any explanation, reports Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

According to him, the Armed Forces collected all necessary evidence of the Hungarian drone's incursion the day before.

"For the blind Hungarian officials. Exact route of yesterday's drone incursion from Hungary into Ukrainian airspace," Sybiha wrote, sharing a map of the flight path.

The map shows that the drone first crossed the border near the village of Solovka. It then flew 40 kilometers and made a loop near the villages of Verkhnia Solotvyna, Nyzhnie Solotvyno, Khudlevo, and Tsyhanivtsi in the Zakarpattia region.

Locations including Uzhhorod, Chop, Tiszaszentmárton, Verkhnya Solotvyna, Khudlevo, Nyzhne Solotvyno, and Chervone are marked. The flags of Hungary and Ukraine are visible at the bottom left and right corners.

Sybiha added that Kyiv is still waiting for explanations about what the object was doing in Ukrainian airspace.

Details about the Hungarian drone incursion

The day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that on the morning of September 26, radars detected a drone coming from Hungary, which entered Ukraine twice at different altitudes. A Chaklun-KM drone unit was deployed for patrols to neutralize the potential threat.

Earlier today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a new statement about the Hungarian drone. He said it is still unknown what it was doing in Ukrainian airspace, but warned that Hungary is engaging in very dangerous actions, primarily for itself.

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó even claimed that Zelenskyy had "gone crazy."

Later, the Hungarian Ministry of Defense officially denied involvement, stating there were allegedly no drone flights in that area.
