Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó brazenly responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding Hungarian drones over Ukraine. According to him, the president is "seeing ghosts.”

In addition, the Hungarian minister took the liberty of saying that the President of Ukraine "is starting to go crazy."

"President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is starting to go crazy over anti-Hungarian sentiment. Now he’s even seeing ghosts," Szijjártó’s post reads.

Hungarian drones over Ukraine

Hungary could have been monitoring Ukraine’s defense industry using reconnaissance drones. The incident involving the drones was reported to the Ukrainian leader by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"Ukrainian forces recorded violations of our airspace by reconnaissance drones, which are likely Hungarian. Preliminary assessments suggest they may have been conducting reconnaissance on the industrial potential of Ukraine’s border areas," Zelenskyy said.

The President of Ukraine has ordered all data to be verified and an immediate report on the confirmed findings.

Hungarian spies in Zakarpattia

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on May 9, Hungarian intelligence operatives were exposed for the first time by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Hungarian intelligence agents were gathering information on the security of the Zakarpattia region. In particular, they were scouting for weak points in both the region’s ground and air defenses.

The Hungarian spies were also studying the views of local residents in order to be able to predict their behavior in the event of a Hungarian military invasion.
