Ukrainian intelligence hits Kaluga oil depot - Sources
The drone attack on an oil depot in Russia’s Kaluga region was a special operation conducted by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, according to RBC-Ukraine's sources in military intelligence.
According to sources, at approximately 12:30 a.m. on November 25, a series of explosions occurred at the facility following kamikaze drone strikes, igniting a fire. Eyewitness videos show Russia's air defense systems unsuccessfully attempting to intercept the UAVs. Ukrainian drones hit the targets one after another, causing significant damage.
White House officially confirms authorization for Ukraine's Forces to strike Russia with ATACMS missiles
The White House has officially confirmed permission for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles for strikes against Russia. This decision marks a significant step in supporting Ukraine, states White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby, according to the social media post of senior military reporter for Business Insider, Jake Epstein.
"They are able to use ATACMS to defend themselves in an immediate-need basis and right now, understandably, that's taken place in and around Kursk," Kirby said.
Frozen Russian assets could be key to ending war in Ukraine, Reuters
During his presidential campaign, US-elected President Donald Trump claimed he could end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. Trump calls one of the key reasons for such a step the US's reluctance to continue paying military and economic assistance to Ukraine, Reuters reports.
Trump suggested that, with financial backing from Europe, potentially using $300 billion in frozen Russian foreign currency reserves, he could negotiate favorable terms for ending the conflict with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Britain imposes largest package of sanctions against Russia's shadow fleet
The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on 30 ships from Russia’s so-called shadow fleet, which were involved in transporting oil and petroleum products worth billions of pounds. This is the largest sanctions package of its kind, aimed at limiting the Kremlin's ability to finance its war in Ukraine, according to the British government.
The total number of oil tankers sanctioned by the UK has now reached 73, surpassing the sanctions imposed by any other country.

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, to discuss key areas of military operations, according to the official Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
One of the main topics for discussion was the situation in the Donetsk region. The most intense sector of the front remains the Kurakhove direction, where efforts are underway to strengthen the positions of Ukrainian forces.
North Korean missile fired at Ukraine contains British part
The War&Sanctions portal has published a list of foreign-made components found in North Korean KN-23/KN-24 ballistic missiles. At least one of them - a voltage converter labeled by the British manufacturer XP Power - was manufactured in February 2023, after the start of the full-scale invasion, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
“To obtain technologies for their weapons programs, Russia and its allies, the DPRK and Iran, use joint schemes to circumvent international sanctions,” the statement said.
