Ukrainian intelligence hits Kaluga oil depot - Sources
The drone attack on an oil depot in Russia’s Kaluga region was a special operation conducted by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, according to RBC-Ukraine's sources in military intelligence.
As a result of the operation by Ukraine's intelligence agency (DIU), a fuel and energy complex facility in the Kaluga region was struck last night.
According to sources, at approximately 12:30 a.m. on November 25, a series of explosions occurred at the facility following kamikaze drone strikes, igniting a fire. Eyewitness videos show Russia's air defense systems unsuccessfully attempting to intercept the UAVs. Ukrainian drones hit the targets one after another, causing significant damage.
The target of the attack was the oil depot of Kaluga Neftegaz JSC, which is involved in supporting Russia's military aggression against Ukraine.
Despite the destructive impact of the attack, videos posted online show that local residents reacted to the operation by Ukraine's intelligence with enthusiasm.
On the night of November 25, drones struck the Kaluganeftegaz oil depot in the Kaluga region.
Additionally, the attack targeted the Typhoon plant, which is part of Russia's military-industrial complex. The facility specializes in the development and production of radio-electronic equipment, including communication systems, radar devices, and electronic intelligence systems. It also produces optoelectronic components used in surveillance and targeting systems for military equipment.
Furthermore, Typhoon manufactures components for aviation systems, missile installations, and air defense systems.
